Meet Megan
Reiki Master Practitioner
Megan is a native of southern Wisconsin whose roots run deep in alternative medicine and healing modalities. Her passion and love for all, including her animals, has led her on a path of reiki and energy healing. When you work with Megan, you are family. Her intuitive spirit and love allows her to help you connect with your internal being and heal on a level much deeper than you could've imagined.
Megan has been working with a Reiki Master Teacher for just shy of 9 years. After years of exposure to the benefits of Reiki, Megan became Reiki certified in 2023 and has been practicing ever since. Although she practices on all beings, her passion and knowledge is in animals. She’s lived her whole life with dogs, including her best friend Mable, a 2 ½ year old yellow lab! Megan firmly believes, though, that all animals can benefit from energy healing, including cats, horses, birds, and any and all creatures!
The Power Behind the Subconscious
What is Reiki?
You might be wondering, “well, what is Reiki, and how does it work?” Great question!
Reiki is Life Force Energy. Practitioners use gentle hand movements to guide the flow of energy through the receivers body. It is a simple, natural, and safe healing modality that’s used to support physical, emotional, and spiritual balance. It also aids in the healing of an injury, surgery, traumatic experience, and much more.
Reiki can be practiced in person or from a distance; either way is just as effective! More specifically, Reiki can address various concerns including, but not limited to:

-
Depression
-
Anxiety
-
Trauma, past or present
-
Grief
-
Emotional pain
-
Physical pain
-
Illness
Even though Reiki is a great way to heal, it isn’t just for those hurting. It is also a great tool to boost and maintain energy no matter how you’re feeling!
Animal Reiki & Healing
Have you ever heard of animals having a “sixth sense”? Well, it’s true! Animals have a heightened sense of awareness that allows them to feel and act according to their surroundings and the energy in it. Especially in pets, they can sense when you’ve had a bad day or if something is ‘off’ about you. Such awareness can cause them to act differently - potentially exhibiting lethargy, decreased appetite and thirst.
What is Animal Reiki?
Reiki is just as applicable for animals as it is for humans. When an animal receives Reiki, they often are relaxed and in a deep state of peace during the session. Using Reiki on animals can address various concerns including, but not limited to:
-
Anxiety, Depression, and Stress
-
Behavioral Issues (aggression, fear, excessive barking, etc.)
-
Reduce Pain
-
Past and Present Traumas
-
Past and Present Emotional or Physical Abuse
-
Illness, Injury, or Surgery
-
End of Life Care
